Meet Our World-Class Team

Daniel Seidler, PT

Executive Director

Daniel Seidler is the owner and Executive Director of WSPT. In 1996 he graduated from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons with a Masters in Physical Therapy. His areas of expertise are aquatic therapy and orthopedic manual physical therapy based on the Maitland technique of assessment and treatment. Daniel contributed a chapter on Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain to “The Use of Aquatics in Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Rehabilitation and Physical Conditioning” by Kevin E. Wilk and David M. Joyner.

Daniel is a member of the APTA, a USA Triathlon Certified Coach, a CrossFit Level I Coach, a Research Member of the Arthritis Foundation and an elected member of the Advisory Board of the HSS Rehab Network.

When Daniel is not treating patients or working with the WSPT Team, you might see him running, swimming, skiing, CrossFitting, doing yoga, coaching soccer or just playing ball with his wife and kids.

Tara Losquadro Liddle MPT, NDT

Regional Director of Pediatrics

Tara received a BS in Physical Therapy from New York University along with a MS in Developmental Disabilities. Licensed to practice in New York for over thirty years, Tara is certified in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) and has gained extensive experience various settings; including hospitals, private practice, early intervention and consulting.

Volunteering as a teenager with children with special needs sealed my fate as a physical therapist. I was enamored with the emotional and physical care implemented by the physical therapists working with the children. She has been working with children and their families since 1983.

Drawing from her experience working with the adolescent population, Tara is the author of Why Motor Skills Matter: Improve your child’s physical development to enhance learning and self-esteem.

Tara often references Tscharnuter Akademie for Movement Organization (TAMO) and the Connecticut Infant-Toddler Developmental Assessment from Yale and is an expert in pediatric and family communications, quality care, team training, supervision and lecturing on neonatal, pediatric, and adolescent patients care.

When Tara is not hard at work helping her patients achieve their rehabilitation goals, she can be found cycling, skiing and running; having last completed the NYC marathon in 2007. She is also an avid traveler, reader and museum goer.

Sachiko Shinohara-Lewis, PT, DPT

Senior Physical Therapist

Sachiko Sinohara-Lewis received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from SUNY Upstate Medical University and has been licensed to practice physical therapy in New York for the past 7 years. Sachiko is well versed in Maitland, McKenzie, Kinesio taping, Myofascial release which she incorporates into her treatment.

Sachiko’s fascination for the workings of the human body began when she was playing volleyball on high school team in Japan, and it continued to grow. She had always wanted to be an orthopedic surgeon, but ultimately decided to become a physical therapist once she found out how physical therapists can get involved in the workings of the human body and work with patients at a personal level. When Sachiko is not hard at work helping her patients achieve their rehabilitation goals, she can be found travelling, exercising and spending time with family and enjoying watching her children grow.

Jannis Winstead, PT, DPT

Jannis B Winstead became a therapist to meet the needs of people who became impaired through challenging situations brought on by the unexpectancies of life. Jannis firmly believes It is everybody has a right to live life to their highest potential. Her mission at MOTION is to to free physical boundaries and barriers that limit a person’s independent lifestyle through compassion, skilled care and creativity.

Ashitha Thomas PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Volunteering at a nursing home, Ashitha realized how much of an impact physical therapists have with patients! Since then, Ashitha went on and graduated from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2016. Treating movement dysfunction and building meaningful relationships with our patients is a rewarding experience that she wouldn’t trade that for anything else in the world. Ashitha enjoys working out (kickboxing) and spending time with her family.

RJ Penalosa PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

RJ received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from New York Medical College. He is licensed to practice physical therapy in New York and has gained valuable experience treating sports & orthopaedic injuries in both acute care and private practice settings. RJ routinely incorporates PNF, Trigger Point Release, soft tissue mobilization, Kinesiotaping and other various techniques into his treatment plan.

Intrigued with the anatomy and movement of the human body and incorporating it into treatment to improve overall well-being, physical therapist the field of physical therapy was the perfect fit for RJ. He believes it is important to not only pay attention to the physical presentations of a condition but to understand how someone is affected at a psychosocial level as well.The opportunity to spend time and develop a strong patient-therapist alliance is very rewarding.

When RJ is not hard at work helping his patients achieve their rehabilitation goals, he can be found weightlifting, running, and hiking. RJ also likes to play basketball and is a fan of the New York Knicks.

Danielle Rosh PT, DPT

Yoshihiro Miura PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Yoshihiro received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Columbia University. He is licensed to practice physical therapy in New York and New Jersey and has gained valuable experience in nursing home, hospitals and outpatient settings using myofascial release and mobilizations with movement techniques.

Yoshihiro was initially invested in veterinary school and subsequently worked in the biochemistry lab soon after. However, it wasn’t until Yoshihiro coincidentally volunteered at a physical therapy clinic had he discover what he was searching for. Physical therapy incorporated the human connection that was simply missing in the other careers Yoshihiro pursued and he appreciates getting to know people while simultaneously working towards their recovery goals.

You can find Yoshihiro enjoying a nice run, playing board games with friends, and listening to podcasts outside of the clinic.

Cara Yochai PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Cara received her Doctorate Degree at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. She completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Health Sciences at the University of Miami in Florida, where she volunteered at the PT department at the University of Miami Hospital. Cara also spent time studying in Paris at the Institute Catholique de Paris. While in school, Cara completed clinical work in the areas of pediatrics, sub-acute rehabilitation, acute inpatient and outpatient orthopedic settings.

Cara always had an interest in science and helping others. Becoming a physical therapist was a dream of hers since her sister was born with a brachial plexus injury and Cara watched her overcome many challenges with the help of physical therapists. Cara has a special passion for pediatrics and extensive experience with children, having successfully managed staff and children in the capacity of a supervisor and counselor in an overnight camp setting for many years. She is excited to blend her passions with her career.

While not at the office, Cara enjoys exploring NYC. You might find her at a Broadway show, sporting event, or sampling the latest food trend. She loves traveling but also enjoys spending quality time at home with family and friends.

Andrea Schloss, PT

Andrea Schloss has been licensed and practicing physical therapy for the past 36 years in New York since obtaining a degree in physical therapy from Hunter College. Andrea has obtained vast experience treating a broad demographic during her experiences in rehabilitation facilities, pediatrics and home health centers.

When Andrea is not hard at work helping her patients achieve their rehabilitation goals, she enjoys spending quality time with her granddaughter, Charlotte and 9 year old adopted dog, Oscar.

Lilibeth received her Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Therapy in 1992. She has been with WSPT since 2008, specializing in Mulligan and Maitland techniques, vestibular therapy, taping, Feldenkrais method and the science of nutritional immunology which focuses on the study of plant-based food and proper nutrition in relation to the immune system. In her spare time, Lilibeth enjoys traveling, scrapbooking, photography, reading, baking, broadway shows, movies and is a Sunday School teacher for children in her local church.
