Meet Our World-Class Team
Daniel Seidler, PT
Daniel Seidler is the owner and Executive Director of WSPT. In 1996 he graduated from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons with a Masters in Physical Therapy. His areas of expertise are aquatic therapy and orthopedic manual physical therapy based on the Maitland technique of assessment and treatment. Daniel contributed a chapter on Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain to “The Use of Aquatics in Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Rehabilitation and Physical Conditioning” by Kevin E. Wilk and David M. Joyner.
Daniel is a member of the APTA, a USA Triathlon Certified Coach, a CrossFit Level I Coach, a Research Member of the Arthritis Foundation and an elected member of the Advisory Board of the HSS Rehab Network.
When Daniel is not treating patients or working with the WSPT Team, you might see him running, swimming, skiing, CrossFitting, doing yoga, coaching soccer or just playing ball with his wife and kids.
Shelmar Tinsay, PT, CES, CAMT
Senior Physical Therapist
Shel is a fitness enthusiast and former Asian Games Powerlifting medalist. She became a PT because she has always loved to empower others through movement. She combines her extensive weight training experience with deep knowledge of sports science and evidence-based rehab medicine in her PT practice. PT is a natural fit for Shel – her calling.
She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Our Lady of Fatima University in the Philippines and is currently pursuing her Doctorate Degree in PT. She is a member of the APTA, she is certified with CES, NASM and AMT, and she’s a member of the NY Medical Reserve Corps of trained medical practitioner volunteers on-call for disaster emergency rescues.
Shel loves kickboxing, running, swimming and hanging out with her Cocker Spaniel, Toffee.

Physical Therapist Assistant
Lilibeth received her Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Therapy in 1992. She has been with WSPT since 2008, specializing in Mulligan and Maitland techniques, vestibular therapy, taping, Feldenkrais method and the science of nutritional immunology which focuses on the study of plant-based food and proper nutrition in relation to the immune system. In her spare time, Lilibeth enjoys traveling, scrapbooking, photography, reading, baking, broadway shows, movies and is a Sunday School teacher for children in her local church.
Maurice Willekens, PT, COMT
Maurice is a dedicated Physical Therapist with over 21 years of experience in the Physical Therapy field. Maurice hails from The Netherlands where he earned his Bachelor’s from The Hague School of Physical Therapy in 1993 and his COMT (Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapy) in 2011. He has been practicing PT in the US since 1994. His specialty is Manual Therapy, the skilled passive movement of joints and soft tissue. He enjoys the social contact with patients and working with them on a personal basis to help them overcome their injuries. Maurice loves to travel and his hobbies include hiking, reading and playing soccer, tennis and golf.
Sachiko Shinohara-Lewis, PT, DPT
Ellen Wirchin, DPT
Ellen developed her interest in PT while pursuing a career in dance. She earned her Bachelor’s in Biology from Binghamton University in 2010 and then her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from New York Medical College in 2013. Ellen started her career in outpatient pulmonary rehabilitation where she specialized in treating patients with a variety of complex pulmonary and orthopedic conditions. Ellen is an active member of the APTA and NY Physical Therapy Association where she helps coordinate local events and continuing education courses. She is running for Vice Chair of the Greater NY district of the NYPTA.
Ellen loves the diversity of the Bronx and the opportunity to work with patients of all ages and cultures at WSPT. Patients like working with Ellen because she’s very thorough, hard-working and driven to help them achieve their goals.
When she’s not at WSPT, Ellen enjoys hiking, learning about nature/wildlife, traveling and cooking.
Priyanka Khanna, MSPT, MBA
Priyanka is a University of Pittsburgh graduate with a Masters degree in Physical Therapy. Her areas of expertise are neuromuscular rehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation and post-surgical rehabilitation. She is a double honors holder for her degrees – Clinical Internship at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and MBA in healthcare at Goldey Beacom College. Priyanka is proud to have been mentored by several world-renowned physical therapists: Susan Whitney (vestibular/Neuro), Brooke Gilliland(Neuro), Michael Timko(Ortho). She is currently working towards her OCS (APTA Orthopedic Certified Specialist). Her favorite thing about WSPT is the intellectual environment.
Priyanka enjoys making people smile, loves the Bronx Bombers, enjoys TED Talks, is an avid sky-diver and is currently pursuing a pilot’s licence to fly private aircrafts.
Jaime Rosero, DPT
Jaime has worked through the ranks at WSPT. He volunteered before his acceptance to the Mercy College Physical Therapy Program. As a student at Mercy, Jaime did a clinical affiliation at WSPT while completing his DPT coursework. He demonstrated many of the qualities we look for in any new hire at WSPT. Jamie is intelligent, hard-working, calm under pressure and he is great with people. He is a welcome addition to the WSPT Team. In addition to his DPT, Jaime is a certified Personal Trainer. In the future, Jaime plans to obtain the OCS (APTA Orthopedic Clinical Specialist) certification.
